Chemical exfoliants like AHA and BHA will help accelerate the healing process, professional treatments like microdermabrasion, acid peels, and laser resurfacing are also excellent options but are VERY expensive!
When treating your acne scars it is important to protect your skin from the sun and UV light using a moisturizer with SPF and also to follow a well balanced skin care routine. That means washing and moisturizing!

If your acne persists I would recommend benzoyl peroxide spot treatments (not full face washes as I personally feel they dry your face out and make it irritated) and if it still persists talk to your doctor and they might offer you lotions or even medication to help with your acne.
